Cabaret Rehearsal Schedule

CABARET REHEARSAL SCHEDULE from now until the show

Performance nights; 11^th, 12^th, 13^th, 14^th March

Again this schedule is subject to change each week so do check every Monday where it will be put outside Drama Studio 1

Please note: rehearsals will gradually become more demanding from now on, as we only have 9 weeks till the show (including half term).

Also please check times of rehearsals carefully as they change slightly each day.

Key rehearsal dates:

·        Thursday 20^th February- rehearsal in Main Hall from 10.00am till 2.30pm (during half term)

·        Saturday 1^st March- 10.30 am till 3.00pm- Main Hall

• Sunday 9^th March- Dress rehearsal: 10.30 till 4.30pm- Main Hall

Friday 9th January 3.30- 4.30	ALL GO TO MUSIC Schneider come to Miss Tottman	Work with Schneider on her song- Miss Dixon to help
Week 2 Tuesday 14th January 3.10-5.30pm	Whole cast Scene 4/5: Club scene- run this scene through with chorus Then perfect acting (Scene 6: Sally, Cliff, Ernst, Schneider (Perfectly marvellous)  )	WHOLE CAST NEEDED Cliff, Sally, Ernst, Emcee Do chorus stuff first and they can go home by 4.30pm
Wednesday 15th January	ALL GO TO DANCE Add in Emcee to Money, money, money- Miss Thomas
Thursday 16th January 3.10-4.45pm	Scene 8: Pineapple scene	Schneider, Schultz, Kost. Finish earlier as need to leave school for W.I.B (call back on Friday if need to)
Friday 17th January 3.10- 5.00pm	ALL GO TO MUSIC Scene 6: Leads in opposite column come to Miss Tottman	Sally, Cliff, Ernst and Schneider  come to Main hall to finish Scene 6 Block pineapple song- Schultz and Schneider  (Miss Dixon)
Week 3 Tuesday 21st January 3.30- 5.30	WHOLE CAST Scene 9: Tomorrow belongs to me. Scene 10: Cliff, Sally, Ernst  (2 x songs to block)	Whole cast needed. Kost, Sailors, Schultz, Schneider, Sally. Miss Thomas to work on choral duets with cast for ‘Married song’
Wednesday 22nd January	ALL GO TO DANCE
Thursday 23rd January 3.20- 5.00pm	Scene 12: Proposal scene	Kost, Schlutz, Schneider, 3 x sailors (Sam Crouch, Tom W, Joe Ellis/Jack Stark), Sally, CLIFF Miss Dixon to work with Sally and Cliff on ‘Maybe this time’ and ‘Why should I wake up’
Friday 24th January 3.20- 5.00pm	ALL GO TO MUSIC... Bethany H/Jack S and Joe Ellis come to Miss Tottman in Main Hall.	Steal Sally Bowles and Cliff to go over their 2 songs- Maybe this time and why should I wake up
Week 4 Tuesday 28th January 3.20-5.30	Scene 13: Party scene Add in chorus sections and ending of Tomorrow belongs to me.	Whole cast- chorus plus ending of Tomorrow belongs to me. (Sally, Cliff, Kost, Schneider, Sailors) Luke/Beth to try and add in middle chorus sections
Wednesday 29th January 3.20- 5.00pm	Scene 2: Fruit Shop scene- add in Schultz song- I work on characters	Whole cast ‘What would you do’- Luke Y and Beth H to see if chorus can be added in background
Wednesday  29th January lunchtime	Miss Thomas to do married duets- if not finished?
Thursday 30th January 3.20- 5.30pm	Scene 4: Sally and Cliff argument- Block Schneider song. ‘What would you do?’	Sally, Cliff and Schneider
Friday 31st January	GO TO MUSIC OR GO HOME!  To discuss with Mr Ashford!
Week 5 Tuesday 4th February 3.20- 5.15pm	Act 2, Scene 5 Add in chorus to this scene Re-run ‘what would you do? song’ with chorus	Whole cast Sally, Cliff, Waiter, Nazis plus chorus Miss Thomas towards end as may try to add in Cabaret song. Luke Y to help chorus to be added in
Wednesday 5th February 3.20-5.30pm	Miss Thomas to choreograph fruit shop dance (and finish married duets). Run Act 2 Scene 7 (end scene)	Whole cast needed
Thursday 6th February 3.20- 5.00pm	Act 2 Scene 6	Cliff, Schlutz, Sally
